Witnessing
Our resurrection dawn is now.
The Master's rising taught us how
as freeing angel thoughts appear
we learn anew "He is not here...."
"Here" as a place of finite bound,
environment defined by space,
keeps changing as the worlds turn round
in orbits of celestial race.
Gripped in dim dissolving spheres
of evanescent dreams and years,
the mortal finds itself held fast
in shallow schemes that cannot last.
But Christ, the pure idea of Mind,
shows how we even now may prove
the power of Spirit to unbind
what never would be bound by Love.
For as we yield to Truth's demands,
we leave behind unstable sands
of change, to find nor time nor place
can bind the witness to God's grace.
