Divine decree

Inevitable as morn—
as planets in their courses—
yet gently as the dawn,
God's law itself enforces.

No other power exists to stay
the searching law of Life;
Truth's piercing laser-light of joy
routs error's futile strife.

Unchanging in effect,
God's law His child upholds.
Mind's mandate varies not,
Truth, all intact, enfolds.

Supported by His rule
man lives by God's decree;
Mind's statutes are his life
throughout eternity.
