When a dear friend acquainted me with Christian Science, I didn't know how much joy, harmony, and happiness would come into our home as a result. Our entire attitude toward life was changed. I had only been studying the Bible, together with Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, a short time when I experienced a wonderful healing, a healing that remains unforgettable.

One day quite suddenly I experienced severe abdominal pain. There were other symptoms, including high fever, and I could not hold food down. I became depressed and couldn't sleep. My husband, who like me had been studying Christian Science only a short while, prayed the best he could for me. When there seemed to be no improvement, we asked a Christian Science practitioner for help through prayer.
