Law of life

LOWELL N. CANNON

If "an eye for an eye"
were earth's law for living,
soon my neighbor and I—
all mankind—would be blind.

It's in Christ's Golden Rule
of love and forgiving
that I see my neighbor,
as myself—of like Mind.
