I have proved that Christian Science heals

I have proved that Christian Science heals. In 1975, while I was working in a cottage industry, my emotional security (or rather, insecurity) was generally tied up with the materialistic. For instance, although I was receiving some delightful fringe benefits from my employers, I was rarely content; I always found something to worry about. Most often, though, I laid the blame at the door of income—or lack of it.

At that time I was studying Christian Science. "The scientific statement of being" from page 468 of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy proved extremely helpful. At one point I asked myself, "What, exactly, does the statement 'There is no life, truth, intelligence, nor substance in matter' mean?" I pondered the ideas. As a result, I glimpsed the truth and gained a crystal-clear sense that man is totally spiritual and includes all good. The next sentence in the statement says, "All is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation, for God is All-in-all."

With this enlightenment, healing came. Uncertainty gave way to a recognition of man's spiritual dominion and satisfaction. I rejoiced in Isaiah's invitation (55:1): "Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price." Soon, financial lack was overcome, and sufficient income was evident.
