Keeping in touch
When astronauts go into space, they need to keep in touch with their base. When business men and women travel abroad, they need to keep in touch with their head office. Even at home some go around wearing an electronic beeper all the time.
Such contacts may have the mental effect of bringing reassurance, support, strength, and a sense of direction, either confirming personal judgment or revising it. They point to the human desire to be in permanent "contact." It's a desire that is truly satisfied in understanding the relationship man has to God, his divine source.
God is divine Mind, the source of all wisdom, strength, understanding, and impulsion. Man is the representative, or expression, of this Mind. In reality, we are that man. Working out from this standpoint, we have an unfailing power that always goes with us—God's love for us, reflected in our love for Him.
