In the September 28, 1957, Sentinel, I related my first Christian Science healing. It brought me into the study of this teaching. Since that time I have relied on God for my needs and have received such bountiful blessings that I regret not having submitted another written testimony before this.

I became a member of The Mother Church in 1948, and I had the privilege of Christian Science class instruction in 1950. This beginning, followed by diligent study of the Bible and Mrs. Eddy's writings, paved the way for the healings I now relate.

During the early years of my study, I had quick healings of a sprained ankle, influenza, and insect stings by praying with "the scientific statement of being," found in the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy (see p. 468).
