It is with joy and gratitude that I testify to the following healings. During the last thirty years I have had numerous blessings in Christian Science.

Many years ago my mother had constant pain in her back. Then she lost a lot of weight, could hardly eat, and was in bed most of the time under the care of physicians, who came to the house regularly to give her painkillers. When the doctors diagnosed gall-bladder trouble, my mother was taken to the hospital for an operation. Tests were taken at that time which, we were told, confirmed the doctors' diagnosis. But after the operation, the pain in my mother's back increased.

At one point it was suggested that mother see a psychiatrist. She went but was not helped. Finally, she tried a chiropractor. Still no relief. Then one day my mother told me that if the doctors did not find a cure for the pain, she would commit suicide. Later, the doctor who had been attending her at home told the family that he would have to stop coming, as my mother was becoming addicted to the injections he was giving her.
