A clearer view
Mark 8:22-25
Christ Jesus touched the blind man's eyes
with healing power of Truth.
Responsive just to outward light,
the man looked up with mortal sight—
assessing falsely what was true.
A second touch by Jesus caused
the darkened thought to yield.
Receptive then to inner light,
the man looked up with holy sight—
rejoicing in a clearer view.
Delayed may be your healing, too,
if Truth you misperceive.
The touch of Christ, awaiting still,
will lift your thought to God's ideal—
revealing being, free and pure.
