Power and healing
Power needs to be better understood. Simply defined, it is the capacity to act. And as we recognize that true power is spiritual might, not physical force, we can better utilize it.
God has all power. Therefore God reigns over all—controls all. The Bible states, "The Lord God omnipotent reigneth." Rev. 19:6. His limitless power gives Him total ability to act, to govern supremely. Man, the expression of God—of infinite Mind, Love, Spirit—reflects God's power, or ability to act. Furthermore, because God has all power, there is no power for evil to have. Hence evil is impotent, actionless.
To understand power we need to understand God better. We need to discern that divine Mind is the one Supreme Being, perfect and eternal, the divine Principle of all, the only cause and creator. As we grasp these great facts, we are better able to perceive that God indeed has all power.
