FOR CHILDREN
"The weapons of our warfare . . ."
[Original in German]
Timothy liked kindergarten because he could play with other children.
However, one day he came home sad. Another boy had stuck small, thorny twigs down his shirt. They had scratched his back badly. First, Mother comforted him, and then she washed off his back. Timothy sat down quietly in a corner; he was thinking something over. Then he had a question for her. It had to do with weapons of warfare that he had heard about in the Christian Science Sunday School.
Mother found the verse from the Bible: "The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds." II Cor. 10:4. Mother showed Timothy the first part of the verse where it says that our weapons are not carnal. What did that mean?
