There is often a need in one's life for moments of quietude away from pulls and pressures of the day—for a place in which to be alone with God.
He stood outside the Reading Roompressing his face against the glassreading the Bible,in faded jeans,long hair, tangled beard;looking tired, hungry.
A merely intellectual, hypothetical, or abstract sense of Deity gives us little if any feeling of closeness to God.
Silently, meekly, adoringly,I praise God for His allness, ever-presence,wholeness, indestructibility.
Some who have little to say may say it so smoothly that they are heard and admired.
