I was able to attend the Christian Science Sunday School and to...
I was able to attend the Christian Science Sunday School and to become a member of a Christian Science college organization, and for this I am most grateful. School activities, especially participation on track and cross-country teams, gave me many opportunities for growth in Christian Science. Included among my healings were those of various leg injuries.
While serving in the Peace Corps in Africa, I was able to see how universally applicable are the truths we learn in Christian Science. For example, the truth that Mind is the real communicator, and that therefore there are no barriers of language. People of any background or race can understand the law of God. This recognition of divine Mind's omnipresence helped me in my work of teaching and coaching people from many different countries. I had healings of malaria, eye and knee infections, and snakebite.
