"Hang up, error. My line's busy!"

"Hang up, error. My line's busy! I'm listening to God."

This amusing thought roused me one time when I was making an intense prayerful effort to silence clamoring pain and to turn my thought entirely to God.

A good way to get error or evil "off the party line" is to mentally tell it to "hang up." Refuse its lies an audience. Anything that appears in opposition to God, who is all-powerful, ever present, and good, can't be true or real. With this understanding we can definitely deny evil entry into our thought.
