Recent articles in The Christian Science Journal and the Christian Science Sentinel have prompted me to review my life. Great change has come into it over the twenty-five years I have been privileged to be an active member of The Mother Church and of a branch church.

In retrospect I can perceive the emptiness that I had unwittingly accepted (before Christian Science) as being representative of life. Now, when I view the precious years of service within the church, the marvelous opportunities that have come my way, I cannot but be joyful. And even more so as I realize that God has no favorites; the door is wide open for everyone to enter. The love of God and man is the open door through which all may gain access to a renewed sense of Life, with its accompanying joyous activity. Divine Love is the law of destruction to the false claims of the material senses.

Healing has come in many ways into my experience—sometimes instantaneously. Other times a clearer view of spiritual reality has been needed before healing could be realized. I have had wonderful help from Christian Science practitioners. And consciousness has also been enlightened as a result of deeper study of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. My healings have included those of influenza, toothache, and exhaustion. I've also developed an ability to tackle work that is entirely new to me through understanding that it is God who "doeth the works" (John 14:10).
