This axiom is well known in business where the dangers of coasting are easily recognized. Most things can be improved— sometimes in a major way, other times only moderately.
Thinking about this axiom, I realized that it could also be applied to my study of the weekly Bible Lessons in the Christian Science Quarterly. Attentive reading of the Bible Lesson each day is both informative and spiritually inspiring. However, daily study brings added understanding and greater usable inspiration.
