Hurting is not right!
Eleanor liked staying at the ranch. She liked to ride in the Jeep along the dirt roads where she'd see deer, wild turkeys, hawks, coyotes, and rabbits.
It was also fun to swing in the hammock and play under the sprinkler in the yard. Eleanor especially enjoyed riding the Shetland pony named Honey.
One day Eleanor's thumb suddenly began to hurt. She told her mother something had bitten her while she was playing in the yard.
