When I was in the ninth grade, because I manifested symptoms...
When I was in the ninth grade, because I manifested symptoms of plantar warts, I was examined by the school nurse. She confirmed that I had plantar warts and sent me home immediately, with instructions that I not return until the condition had completely cleared up. I walked home, but not without quite a bit of soreness and discomfort.
When I reached home, my mother recommended that I call a Christian Science practitioner. After doing so, I felt much uplifted and comforted. The practitioner had simply but lovingly reminded me that God is good, and that He is the only presence there is, so there just could not be any room for disease or pain; there can't be more than All.
A short time later, I fell asleep. When I woke up, I was completely free. The soreness had gone and there was absolutely no trace of the warts. When I returned to school the next morning, the nurse was amazed at how quickly I'd been healed.
