You are not alone

VIRGINIA L. SCOTT

God's onliness
excludes loneliness.
How could His cherished child
dwell in the drear and wild
abyss of sorrow?

His all-embracing
love, erasing
the cloud that weeps "bereft,"
holds you, and you are left
enfolded in His knowing.
