Unhoodwinked!
All along I assumed it was person who thought
who talked
who acted
while I emotionally reacted
to the smothering hood that was
"pulling the wool over my eyes"
(so I couldn't see the tricker).
No more! No sackcloth of error to hoodwink me!
God's idea can only be awake
alert
and uninvadable.
My voice, thinking, and identity
cannot be borrowed
hypnotized
or
controlled
by the ventriloquism of mortal mind's
subtle manipulation.
Man's innate, perpetual purity enables me to cherish
invincible
unimposable
untrickable
undeceivable
being.
I am un-hoodwinkable
and ready to remain so.
