To find happiness ...
... we need to know what happiness is and where it comes from.
Do we look for it in outward circumstances: comfort, affluence, friends, a good family? In inner feelings: peace, quietude, security, a sense of cultural enrichment?
Any or all of these can be legitimate satisfactions. But are they the source, or the essence, of happiness?
