It's raining daffodils

Spring clouds and rain bring us violets and daffodils. But other kinds of clouds and rain—downpours of discord and clouds of calamity—would threaten to deprive us of life's violets and daffodils, of its joy and freshness and beauty. During such times mental upheaval can appear to blot out the calm and peace Soul abundantly provides for its offspring.

Soul is God, who as the only creator has made man in His image to enjoy all the glorious good of His perfect, spiritual universe. In this universe Mind, God, and His knowing provide all the intelligence man has or needs to have; Spirit, God, and His substance are all that constitute and encompass man; Principle, God, and His undeviating law are all that govern man. And you and I, recognizing that in reality we dwell in that universe as God's spiritual offspring, can here and now accept as the truth of us and our experience only what is good—the violets and daffodils of existence.

Clearly all these declarations add up to the fact that God has established only harmony for us. Moreover, since God is the only substance and presence, that harmony fills all space; it is both within and outside us. So in truth there can be no downpours of difficulties, no mental turmoil, to oppress us.
