On which side are you arguing?
Every student of Christian Science knows that its teachings give one a new way of thinking, a new outlook, a new standpoint for thought and action.
One finds marvelous inspiration and joy in learning the absolute truths of God's omnipotent goodness and man's true being as God's spiritual idea. He naturally loves the grand truths of being and draws on them for strength, comfort, peace—which they certainly bring in buoyant and abundant measure.
Yet we soon find we cannot merely bask in a euphoric bliss of accepting these truths as theory. They have to be lived—made practical moment by moment. We come to realize that our thoughts and conclusions must be tested by the standard of Science, the standard of Truth. In other words, we see the necessity of really facing our own thoughts. We see how important it is to challenge the thoughts that knock at our mental door, and to accept only those that are valid and worthy in the light of Science.
