I can gratefully testify to the healing efficacy of Christian Science!
During my school years I searched for a satisfying religion, and although I had been introduced to this Science, I disliked what I thought it was. Even though I was impressed with the intelligence and love expressed by Christian Scientists I had met, I still wasn't interested in investigating Science for myself.
Several years later I married a man who was himself a Christian Scientist. I remember thinking, "If I am to talk him out of this religion, I had better read the textbook to know what I'm talking about." (The textbook of Christian Science is Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.) But as I proceeded with my plan the results were far different than I had anticipated.
