God is good

Amber is two years old. She can talk, but she doesn't make big sentences yet. She can say only a few words at a time. When Amber was first learning to put words together, her mother taught her to say, "God: good," and after that Amber often said, "God: good." It made her so happy to know God is good that she smiled a big smile each time she said it.

Amber's mother and father trust God and always turn to Him when they need help. They often pray as they were taught in the Christian Science Sunday School. Because they have always trusted God, Amber has learned to trust God, ... too. She knows God heals and helps us. We can always talk to Him and feel His presence.

One day Amber came to her mother saying her tummy hurt. Her mother knew this couldn't be true, because God is good. She told Amber of God's great love for all His children, and Amber began to feel much better. Always before, Amber's mother had prayed for her, but this time she asked Amber, "Well, what do we know about this?" Amber smiled a big smile and said, "God: good."
