Soul food
The understanding of Soul in Christian Science brings a wondrous sense of nourishing Love, of God as the very center and essence of His expression, man.
Having the right sort of food has always been one of the major needs of humanity. The "developed world" worries about nutrition and food value. The "developing world" seeks more food and fears its tragic scarcity. How valuable, then, to have an assured concept of what nourishment—"Soul food"—really means.
Our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, makes a startling statement about food, based on her discovery of Christian Science: "Immortal Mind feeds the body with supernal freshness and fairness, supplying it with beautiful images of thought and destroying the woes of sense which each day brings to a nearer tomb."
