THE COURAGE TO YIELD
If you find your head down,
and see no place for your heart;
it is not the end of friendship, because
you can make a fresh start.
Have the courage to yield,
any sense of personal desire; in order to
free what you love,
to be what it aspires.
Discover yourself in Love,
without needing to be told,
how much you are adored or,
"how good you feel to hold."
Seek to find the grace,
which comes with Love's will; then
break that bread of understanding, and
your brother's need fulfill.
If you're willing to serve,
and honestly striving to bless;
God will embrace your desire,
and gently answer "Yes."
Then know you are being,
without a worry or doubt!
Don't think you're becoming,
Don't fear you won't turn out.
If you follow the path
which gives you deepest peace,
you can walk with conviction, and from
despair find release.
Treasured one,
You are the very proof of His presence,
the evidence of Her tender touch;
You are living Life's life;
that's why you mean so much.
Accept these words of love,
which are here to help you see;
the most important goal always
is to free yourself to be.
