An interview: From atheism to Christian Science
In the Preface to Science and Health Mary Baker Eddy writes (p x): "The divine Principle of healing is proved in the personal experience of any sincere seeker of Truth. . . . The unbiased Christian thought is soonest touched by Truth, and convinced of it."
Whether people have been raised in Christian Science or found it later in life, there is a discovery process in which each one makes it his own and commits himself to its deeper exploration, study, and practice. For each member of The Mother Church there must be a different, inspiring story about that moment of decision. This is Stephen Coury's experience. Raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Steve now works as editor for a magazine headquartered in Tulsa. The interviewer was Madelon Maupin Holland.
