My mother had a remarkable healing through Christian Science treatment. This occurred before I was born, but I have heard her and other members of the family speak of it many times. The doctors had told her that she had an internal growth but that she was too weak to undergo an operation. It was their opinion that she had only a short time to live.

In the rural community where my mother then resided, she had not heard of Christian Science. But while a sister-in-law was visiting a friend in another area, she learned of a healing by this method and told my mother about it. A Christian Science practitioner was contacted, who traveled to the home by train. She talked with my mother briefly of the power and goodness of God and His infinite love for her. Then the practitioner gave her treatment. Within an hour, my mother rose from the bed. The tumor passed from her, and she was instantly well and strong.
