Why not?

You seek
by means of matter
to make discord
disappear?
Why not
find in Spirit
that it was never there?

Which is more secure?

You seek
a matter-cause
to ensure that
good appears?
Why not
find in Spirit
that it was always here?

Which will more endure?

You're waiting
in matter
for good to come again?
Why not accept
Spirit's fact?
There's no need to reattain
what's here
and forever will remain.
