Christian Science can help in everything!

Christian Science can help in everything! It has even helped me with a school subject I was once frightened of. Every morning our teacher would say, "Get out your maths books." Then I would look into my book, which had just been marked, and find I had corrections to do. My friends are much better at maths than I am, and at the end of each lesson they would discuss how easy they found it. I asked my mother to help me but would still get it wrong. This was because we had to learn the new modern method and Mother's was the old-fashioned way.

Each day maths got more and more difficult for me. And I got more and more frightened to tell my teacher that I couldn't understand, not because she was a bad teacher, but because I should have told her earlier. I thought if she found out now, she would be most annoyed. Well, I didn't know where to turn. Then I realized that all this time I had forgotten that Christian Science is the answer!

I remembered we had learned in Christian Science Sunday School that God is All-in-all. Then I looked up the definition of God in the Glossary of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy (p. 587): "God. The great I am; the all-knowing, all-seeing, all-acting, all-wise, all-loving, and eternal; Principle; Mind; Soul; Spirit; Life; Truth; Love; all substance; intelligence." I knew we are truly God's reflection, and if God has great intelligence, we express it. I then looked up Mrs. Eddy's answer to the question "What is intelligence?" (ibid., p. 469): "Intelligence is omniscience, omnipresence, and omnipotence. It is the primal and eternal quality of infinite Mind, of the triune Principle,—Life, Truth, and Love,—named God."
