Man is idea, not physique

Man is evidence that God exists.

How this God-based concept differs from the generally accepted belief that man is an insignificant mortal, living precariously between birth and death in a physical body! The real man (the real you and me) is Godlike, complete in every detail— no restrictive physique here.

Creation, then, is the evolvement of divine Mind, not a biological process. This may fly in the face of the evidence of physical sense, but it is nonetheless true. The consequence of a non-material cause, of Spirit itself, must be spiritual. And Spirit manifests itself in ideas, for Spirit is Mind, the absolute, governing, creative force of the universe. Man is the grandest of Spirit's ideas. It is impossible for matter to form the genuine man. The Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy, states with clear insight, "Mind creates His own likeness in ideas, and the substance of an idea is very far from being the supposed substance of non-intelligent matter."
