Pray without ceasing

Be always on my knees? Or repeat some prayer constantly? And with jobs that have to be done? It was quite a long time before I could comprehend what the Bible demand "Pray without ceasing" I Thess. 5:17; was all about.

Prior to finding Christian Science, I often felt depressed because I had so many difficulties to overcome. I used to ask myself, Why can't God wear a hearing aid to better hear my woes, and stronger glasses to better see my particular plight?

Christian Science taught me that God, not being manlike, does not have to have such aids to help me, since He is pure Spirit. As the Bible says of God, "Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity." Hab. 1:13;
