How to find the right home
Whether we rent a room or an apartment (and call it a flat!), whether we own a house or condominium, live in a trailer or tent, that residence expresses, to an extent, our present concept of home and environment. There is a diversity of possibilities, according to our city, culture, income, and so on.
If we would live satisfyingly, we ought not to have a material, stereotyped vision of "the right way to live." Contentment with a simple apartment may be the outcome, for one individual, of his spiritual satisfaction. Another might delight in a spacious house set in a pleasant garden, and this may evidence his ample realization of the beauty and light of Soul.
A drab, inadequate dwelling may signify a need to lift the level of our thought about how and where we live, to lift it out of matter and into Spirit. We can do this with the insight we gain from studying the Bible—especially the teachings of Christ Jesus—and the books of our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.
