How to love
Can you truly love another until you have first learned to love yourself?
To love oneself by understanding one's real, spiritual identity is to awake to the limitless human capacities of being. It is to recognize that because you are in truth individual spiritual consciousness, you have right now the whole of God to reflect—not part of God, not fragments of His love, but the full superabundance of being.
Think of all-embracing divine Love! In its infinitude, Love is forever expressing itself joyously, abundantly, impartially—declaring its own grand and universal harmony. And where is God's counterfeit, that deception called mortal mind with its limited sense of love, with its hate and jealousy? Nowhere. For infinite Love is All. God can never create or know anything unlike Himself. When we start from the basis of Love's infinitude, we will no longer seek what is infinite through limited mortal mind and its counterfeit, illusory ways.
