Ballet healing

Ballet is happy and dainty. I like ballet because you get to wear ballet shoes and leotards. You do shows and wear tutus.

On my first day of ballet I was scared. I was afraid nobody would like me, and I would do badly at it. I told my mother about this, and she told me to think of one of the names for God.^{Mrs. Eddy gives seven names, or synonyms, for God on page 465 of her book Science and Health.} I thought of Life and intelligence. Intelligence is a quality of God. I picked Life because in ballet class you have to be lively to jump and do pony prances.

In ballet you need to remember lots of steps, especially in shows. You need intelligence to remember the steps and to do things right. I get life and intelligence from God, who is everywhere and is All. He is my true Mother and Father. He gives me everything I need.

When I got to the ballet class that first day, I was able to concentrate on my pony prances. I forgot all about fear, and it was super!
