When I became pregnant for the first time, I thought, "Why can't an expectant mother feel the joys of forthcoming parenthood as a father does, without the kind of distress that sometimes accompanies pregnancy and delivery?"
Much to my delight I learned she can. How? By spiritualizing her concept of the event through Christian Science. Study of Science showed me that I was truly a liberated woman and that all women can be free from tribulation in childbirth.
