I would like to express my gratitude for Christian Science and mention some healings I have had through my understanding and application of the truth, without the aid of a Christian Science practitioner.

I began studying Christian Science several times. I have been acquainted with the teaching for a long while. Seven years ago I became very ill. I had problems with my blood pressure and heart. A doctor prescribed many remedies and complete rest, and forbade me to walk upstairs. I followed the treatment for two months but did not improve in the least. Then I decided, "This is it! I'm going to stick with God and study the Bible Lesson in the Christian Science Quarterly every day. I'm sure I'll find relief from all my problems." From that time until now I have been very well—completely healed by the grace of God, as revealed in the teachings of Mrs. Eddy.

One morning about three years ago, I fell on the patio, injuring my face. But my only thought was of the power and presence of God, and I received immediate relief. My husband wanted to call a doctor, but I didn't consent. I was encouraged by this psalm (105:4), "Seek the Lord, and his strength: seek his face evermore." I lay down for a while until my husband went to work. As soon as he left, I got up and went to the hairdresser's, as we had an invitation to a wedding for that day, which we attended. My healing was complete within a few days.
