The study of Christian Science teaches us to first find God if we would find healing.
On the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel in Rome, Michelangelo depicts God as a corporeal being reaching out his right hand with one finger almost touching that of the first man, Adam, who is lying on the earth.
The lid evil, or error, hides under is the illusion that it has real being.

One can be safe in any place or human situation if one's thought is maintained at a level of certainty that God, good, is the only power and presence, as Christian Science declares, and that one is forever secure in the atmosphere of infinite Love.
There may be times we need to buckle down, through prayer, and challenge a specific difficulty we have let slide along.
When I was in the depths of despair due to a medical verdict regarding the health of our daughter, this statement was written to me in a letter by a dear friend: "A spiritual idea has not a single element of error, and this truth removes properly whatever is offensive".
With a heart full of love and gratitude I testify to innumerable blessings that I have received from Christian Science treatment.
I would like to express my gratitude for Christian Science and mention some healings I have had through my understanding and application of the truth, without the aid of a Christian Science practitioner.
