Although my parents enrolled me in the Christian Science Sunday School when I was a child, it was not until ten years ago that this Christ Science started to become my own.

For many years I seldom missed a Christian Science church service, because I helped furnish the music. I had healings just by listening to the reading of the Bible Lesson in the Christian Science Quarterly, but I never thought of searching deeper into the cause of healing.

There came a time when I had an internal disorder that continued. I called a Christian Science practitioner, who assured me he would give me prayerful help, and for this I was most grateful. He told me to keep in mind my perfect self—my true identity created spiritually in God's likeness. Also, I had to learn to "bind the strong man" (Matt. 12:29)—to displace mortal beliefs with the spiritual facts of being. To do this I had to fill my thoughts with Truth and Love, and I continued for months to study, ponder, and pray to know more of God's universe.
