Spotless being

It may be relatively easy for us to know that God is Spirit, all good, love, and wisdom, but to see man as spiritual and sinless can seem more difficult. It seems difficult because of the world belief that life and mind are in matter. Mortal mind is continuously telling us man is material and imperfect.

We hear the common expression, "No one is perfect." But the Bible tells us God said in relation to Christ Jesus, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." Matt. 17:5; Jesus taught that we, too, are in reality sons of God and reflect Godlikeness. Moreover, we are endowed by God with spiritual sense, which shows us we're actually spiritual and perfect. It's important to use this God-given power, or ability, to see and claim our spiritual sonship.

We are choosing constantly either God's truth or mortal mind's lie—counterfeit man. Our health, happiness, and well-being depend on which we choose. If the first, all is well. If mortal mind's illusion, the good that is rightfully ours is postponed. The wrong choice is often fraught with fear and suffering, but at any moment we can turn to the arms of divine Truth and Love and feel comforted and blessed.
