One day while I was at a fantastic summer camp, I was working on my tennis award. I fell down and twisted my knee. The tennis teacher told me to go to the office, as the nurse was out. I went, and the lady in the office wanted to take me to the hospital to get the knee checked, but the directors came and helped me into their house. We tried to call my mother and father, but they were out. The Christian Science practitioner that I tried to call was out, so I looked up another friend who was a practitioner. We talked about Love and how I was surrounded in it. The camp director, who was a Christian Scientist, brought me two copies of the Sentinel, and I read them cover to cover. Then I got up and walked out to where the director was, on the porch, and handed her the Sentinels, thanked her, and ran down the hill to my cabin. I am very grateful to God for this healing.

This healing proved to me what I had learned in the Christian Science Sunday School (Ps. 23:1, 6): "The Lord is my shepherd .... Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever." Mrs. Eddy interprets that last line (Science and Health, p. 578): "I will dwell in the house [the consciousness] of [love] for ever."
