Who's closest to you?
God is closest to you. You are absolutely at one with Him. There is no relationship anywhere closer to us than our companionship with God. We are actually God's ideas. We live and act within the environment of divine Love. This Love fills all space and governs our experience. We feel good about ourselves and everyone else when we feel God's goodness.
You may say at this point, "I'd like to believe that, but I feel purposeless and lonely."
The practical answer is to find your spiritual identity in God's allness. You can do this. There is nothing to hinder you.
