Face the light
When we face the light, our shadows fall behind us. As we face the light of spiritual understanding, letting it illumine our thought, the dark images of fear and disease recede and disappear.
The Bible tells us, "God is light, and in him is no darkness at all." I John 1:5; The light of divine Truth reveals the provable fact of God's wholly good nature and of man's inescapable relationship to Him as the evidence of His perfect being. Scriptural writers relate light to understanding, safety, glory, righteousness, freedom, and similar terms. We each can experience here and now in a relevant, tangible manner the light of Truth caring for us.
To face the light is to recognize and acknowledge the spiritual fact right where darkness or fear seems to be. To face the light evidences our honest desire to be spiritually awakened. It lets into human consciousness the inspiration of divine Love; it opens the door of thought to healing.
