Sing of Life, not dreams
Romantic ballads regale us with fanciful stories about our dreams of life and what we wish life were. Dreams can be beautiful, but they are fragile, easily shattered.
Practicality demands that we learn life rightly today. We need to awake from the dream that we are material beings tossed by the whims of a material universe and realize that we are eternally cared for offspring of God. We must come to realize that God is Spirit and that we are His spiritual expressions. In reality we have but one true Life—God.
Spiritual living and the blessings that accompany it are here. But to recognize and enjoy them we need to see the unreliability, the unreal and dreamlike nature, of material living.
