Never too old
We've all heard the assurance "You're never too old ..."—often given with tongue in cheek. Although these words may appear farfetched, their truth can be proved.
The problem is, most people believe they are mortals who in process of time must age and become less and less active until they eventually die. They think that from the moment of what is called birth their days are numbered, and thus it seems they are both living and dying at the same time. How ridiculous—and of course untrue! "Life is eternal. We should find this out, and begin the demonstration thereof," Science and Health, p. 246; writes Mrs. Eddy.
Christian Science teaches us how to do this. It shows us how to overcome the difficulties associated with advancing years through the understanding that man is spiritual, not confined in the material body and so not subject to its dictates. Man is, in fact, governed by Mind, the source of all activity.
