Christ's Ceaseless Activity

Christ's activity is ceaseless. Christ as the healing and saving power of God is operating constantly, working universally, to save mortals from mortality and to heal them of sin and disease.

This activity is largely unrecognized as yet. Mankind believes Christ to be confined to the person of Jesus. It is still held in bondage to fears and limitation because of failure to perceive the spiritual essence, or idea, the Christ, Truth.

Christian Science reveals Christ to be universal and timeless, not limited to an age or a religious sect. The Christ is God's own idea, ever concurrent with His divine demand, "Let there be light."^{Gen. 1:3;} It works undiminished, enlightening human consciousness and awakening it to spiritual realities.
