"CAST OUT THE BEAM"

Recalcitrant, the human will blocks—
unrecognized—the pure vision.
Laborious are those miles wasted
in unplanned headstrong search
for what lies within already-reach.
Love cannot be caught and clutched;
Love, pure and undefiled and undefiling,
touches us
when silenced self waits—
and trusts.
