"O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me...
"O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me (Ps. 30:2).
Christian Science has been my only physician and met my every need for many years. I have had many beautiful healings through the study of this wonderful religion. I would like to share what seemed to be a delayed healing, for it may help someone who is struggling with a similar problem.
I wakened one morning and found that at first I could not raise my head off the pillow, let alone get up. After calling my husband to help me, I was able to get on my feet and with his aid walk to the table for breakfast. We studied the lesson in the Christian Science Quarterly—Bible Lessons, as we always do each day, and then continued in prayerful study to know the truth of my spiritual status as God's image. When the condition seemed no better the next day, I called a Christian Science practitioner to treat me. Her words were a comfort to me.
