Talking It Over

It was a sunny day and the yard around our house was covered with leaves. I had been helping my daddy rake leaves when suddenly I didn't feel so good. Daddy was busy, so I went into the house to tell my mommie that I had a stomachache. She was talking on the telephone, so I decided to go into the living room where it was quiet and pray. As I stood near the sofa, I said, "God, I know You're everywhere and I know You're helping me right now." In my thought I felt God say, "You're perfect right now." When I walked away from the sofa, I was healed—no more stomachache!

I thanked God as I always do when He helps me. Just as Mommie was hanging up the telephone, I shouted "Mommie, I just had a healing!" She was so happy when I told her what had happened. You see, I go to the Christian Science Sunday School, and there I'm learning that God is Life, Truth, Love, Principle, Mind, Soul, Spirit,^{See Mary Baker Eddy, Science and Health, p. 587 .} and that I'm God's perfect child.

I could hardly wait to get back outside. I love to help my daddy in the yard, and I love Christian Science.
